Wow. I knew I had to write to you when I saw this photo you posted.
I found your blog this morning when I googled the Emerson quote, "The ancestor of every action is a thought." I've had that quote on my bathroom mirror for years. I googled it today, because I wanted to share it with a woman who's day dreaming about doing a marathon someday. Too lazy to put the laptop down and get out of bed to check the source, I googled, and found your site.
Your journey doing the 3 day walk last year-and again this year-is SO inspiring to me. As you can see at my blog, I'm at the beginning of a mini-version: a one day walk and a much smaller fundraising goal. If you can raise $25,000-and now $30,000-then I can raise $3000. Perhaps I should increase my goal?
Anyway, I think it's fabulous that we posted such similar photos recently. Of all the photos we could have chosen - http://roolily.wordpress.com/2008/01/22/a-quickie-for-peace/ Now I know I'm supposed to be reading your blog. Thanks.
