I've been getting up early to beat the heat and zipping around Green Lake, with Springsteen in my ear. Have walked at noon several times this week, yesterday with Tracy, who has finished round two of chemo and goes back in next week for round three. I really appreciate her support for my training. We've got a couple more noontime walks scheduled. She will just have finished her last round of chemo as we do the actual 3 Day Walk.
Eight weeks with no falls. Shoes are working great. Nothing except a blister on top of the bunion callus right now, which is to be expected. I am in the groove.
