Church Works Brewery and Klavon's Ice Cream Parlor.

We had lunch at Church Works Brewery after visiting with friends. This church was built in 1902 and saved by turning it into a brewery.

Here's a notion of the inside of the church now.  This is the bar area.

Replacing the altar is this celestial combination.

The copper vats and stained glass window go nicely together.  Old pews are used in the restaurant part  of the place.

James says Pittsburgh has great old-fashioned ice cream parlors, and here's an example.

Everything from my  childhood seems to be here.

Dr. Klaven evidently prescribed more than ice cream.

After stopping at a newsstand, we're back home, me to read the paper and Harper's, and James to work on his last paper.   We're going to see the new Star Trek movie this evening.
